As Antonio Moore says in THIS Facebook post:
Black Celebrity has been meeting with Trump for 25 years, now when the interest of largely working poor Black Americans are in the balance people like Spike Lee are saying we should not meet with the President of America.
Introduction To All Posts:
Black women’s problems with Black men started in Africa LONG before the arrival of the Arab man and the White man.
Black men have been betraying Black women since BEFORE the White man ever came to Africa. If you haven’t already done so, please read the following 2 posts:
And now on to today’s post:
Here’s a video that is worth watching in its
entirety and a link to an article that I believe is worth your time.
MLK and Yvette, Trying to
Put Money into Black People's Pockets! 1/16
These links are worth your time because the position that the current African-American Social Engineering
(negro celebrities) and Political Misleadership
(negro politicians and activists) classes are exhorting African-Americans (AAs)
to take is downright deadly:
(1) AA entertainers and political misleaders are not organizing AAs to build any
sort of Provide The Necessities Of Life
infrastructure for ourselves; AND
(2) these same entertainers and misleaders are simultaneously discouraging
AAs in general—which includes the qualified* AAs from among us—from meeting
with President-Elect Donald Trump.
This is crazy. From my perspective, if AAs are not going to build
any sort of life-sustaining infrastructure for ourselves (and it seems pretty
clear to me that we’ll never do that), then we need to have some qualified* people
from among our group lobbying Trump to use the increased power he’s stepping
into in a couple of days to resolve some of our most pressing problems. For
just one example, somebody needs to lobby him to get the lead out of the water
in Flint, Michigan.
*Qualified people such as Prof. William
A. Darity Jr., who is the Samuel DuBois Cook Professor of Public Policy,
African and African American Studies, and Economics, and the director of the
Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University. He wrote an
article I’ve previously cited, How Barack Obama Failed Black Americans: The country’s first black president never pursued policies bold enough to close the racial wealth gap.
Let me be clear: I join other AAs in denouncing the
minstrel show coons who’ve been meeting with Trump. Coons like psych ward
patient Kanye West, arch-coon Steve Harvey, and brain-damaged football players
like Jim Brown. They’re coons in this
context because they’re totally unqualified to speak about anything serious;
and they know that.
If any of these coons cared about AAs, instead of
taking up a meeting slot that could go to a person who’s actually qualified to
discuss AAs’ concerns, they would encourage Trump to reach out to some qualified
AA economists, etc. My issue isn’t the
idea of AAs meeting with Trump to discuss AA interests and concerns. My issue is
the totally unqualified nature of the minstrel show coons that have been
meeting with Trump.
One thing or the other. If we’re not going to build anything for ourselves to ensure our survival, then we need to be willing to
talk to the people who are in a position to do something to help us survive.
As
Yvette Carnell mentions in the video above, what do silly folks think Dr. King was
doing when he spoke with [racist Southerner] President Johnson?
Finally, pay close attention to the points raised by
the military veteran caller who called into Yvette’s show at the 1:09:10 point in the video.
The
position that the AA Misleadership Class is taking isn’t just dumb, it’s
downright deadly. As the U.S.
military veteran caller warns, it’s extremely dangerous for AAs to make
ourselves the public face of the anti-Trump opposition. Trump’s election is the
last hurrah for the White men the caller served with in the military. If something
happens that causes Trump (for whatever reason) to not serve his entire term in
office, those WM veterans are not
going to just accept it.
I don’t think I need to spell it out regarding the
risks associated with such an event. As several BWE and BW-centric writers have
said, African-American Black women need to stay OUT of the anti-Trump target
zone!
